Marvel Studios has begun work on a new film. The film does not yet have a title, but it is known that it will be released in December 2028.

The film will be the fourth in the studio’s slate for this year, with previously announced releases set for February, May, and November 2028.

If all four films are released on these dates, which is impossible to say for sure, it will be an unexpected move for the studio, journalists write. After all, Disney CEO Boa Iger previously said that Marvel “lost its focus a little bit, trying to create too much content.”

However, the studio has a tradition of keeping release dates — even if the likelihood of them being met is low. For example, the film “Blade” was long on the schedule for November 2025.

The studio is currently developing a second part of “Shang-Chi”, a third part of “Black Panther”, “Armored Warriors” and a new film about X-Men. Probably, the untitled film could be a sequel to “Spider-Man”, “Avengers” and even “Blade”, which has not been released for several years.
