Mass events have been banned in one of the regions of Ukraine: what is the reason?

The Defense Council of the Poltava Region implemented the decision of September 14, 2023 No. 51 by order of the head of the Poltava OVA on the ban on holding mass events from June 18 to June 24, 2025.
This was reported by the head of the Public Works Inspectorate, Maksym Malko.
Local mass events were canceled amid the increased threat of air strikes on Poltava and the Poltava district.
The restrictions apply to:
– ceremonial events in cultural institutions
– concerts
– sports competitions and outdoor activities
– any other public gatherings involving a mass gathering of people
The full text of the OVA decision will be published later.
It is currently unknown on which specific dates and in which districts of the Poltava region this ban will be in effect – this will become known after the publication of the decree, the press service explained.
