Massive attack on Kyiv: people were rescued from the rubble, one person died

On the night of Thursday, May 14, Russian occupation forces launched a massive combined attack on Kyiv. The enemy pounded the capital with drones and missiles, causing explosions, fires and destruction in several areas. One person was killed and at least 16 injured.

This was reported by the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachenko.

According to Klitschko, “the capital was under massive enemy attack.”

The consequences were recorded in several districts of the city at once. In the Dniprovsky district, the roof of a five-story residential building caught fire due to falling debris, and a private house, garages, and cars were also damaged.

In the Holosiivskyi district, debris fell onto the road and damaged a business center building and another non-residential structure.

In the Solomyanskyi district, a car caught fire in the parking lot, and debris fell onto the territory of non-residential buildings.

Serious damage was also recorded in the Darnytskyi district. There, a residential building collapsed, and people were trapped under the rubble. Rescuers conducted a search operation. In addition, a gas station and a gas station were burning in the area.

In the Obolonskyi district, debris fell on a parking lot, a business center, and a residential building. A fire broke out in one of the apartments on the 12th floor. A 25-story unfinished building was also reported to have been hit.

As of this morning, 16 people were injured. Some were hospitalized, others were treated on the spot. One person died. Rescue and emergency services continue to work at the scene of the attacks.
