Massive attack on the Dnieper: dozens of houses damaged, dead and injured

Following the Russian Federation’s overnight attack, the city of Dnipro suffered significant damage—residential buildings and social infrastructure were damaged, and there were casualties.

This was reported by the city mayor Boris Filatov .

According to him, 10 cruise missiles and more than 80 drones were launched at the city. The attack damaged at least 27 residential buildings, two kindergartens, and a clinic.

Around 1,500 windows were blown out in buildings, roofs and elevator shafts were destroyed, and in some places entire floors were destroyed.

Up to ten victims with lacerations, shrapnel wounds, fractures, and burns are in hospitals. Medics are providing them with the necessary assistance.

At least three people are known to have died. However, some residents have not responded to calls since the attack, suggesting the death toll may have risen.

As a reminder, on the night of April 25, the Russian army launched a combined attack on Ukraine, using various types of missiles and attack drones. Air defense forces destroyed or suppressed 610 enemy targets.
