Massive drone attack: Air defenses destroyed 252 of 273 UAVs

On the night of March 28, Russia launched one of its largest drone attacks against Ukraine, launching 273 drones of various types. Air defense forces destroyed or suppressed 252 of them.
The Ukrainian Air Force reported this.
According to military sources, the infidels used attack UAVs, specifically the Shahed , as well as the Gerbera, Italmas, and other types of drones. The launches were carried out from Russian territory (Orel, Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk), as well as from temporarily occupied Crimea.
Around 180 drones were “shahids.” The main target of the attack was the Odessa region.
Aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned aerial systems, and mobile fire teams of the defense forces were deployed to repel the attack.
As of this morning, 252 enemy drones have been confirmed destroyed or suppressed. At the same time, 21 attack UAV strikes were recorded at 18 locations, along with debris impacts at nine locations.
After 7:00 AM, Russian forces carried out repeated drone strikes in the Odesa region and other regions in northern and eastern Ukraine. The consequences of these attacks are being investigated.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that the enemy had launched over 60 attack drones at Odesa alone. Residential buildings, a maternity hospital, businesses, a port, and critical infrastructure were damaged in the city.
According to regional authorities, two people were killed and 12 others were injured in the attack. Two of the victims are in serious condition, including a 9-year-old boy.
