Massive Russian attack: Air defense forces neutralized 610 of 666 air targets

On the night of April 25, the Russian army launched a combined attack on Ukraine, using various types of missiles and attack drones. Air defense forces destroyed or suppressed 610 enemy targets.

The Ukrainian Air Force reported this.

According to military data, the Dnieper River was the main attack vector. Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Odesa, and Kyiv regions were also hit.

A total of 666 air attack weapons were recorded, including:

  • 12 Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles
  • 29 X-101 cruise missiles
  • 1 Iskander-K missile
  • 5 Kalibr missiles
  • 619 attack UAVs of various types, in particular Shahed

Aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned aerial systems, and mobile fire teams were deployed to repel the attack.

As of 8:00 AM, air defense forces have neutralized 610 targets—30 missiles and 580 drones. Specifically, 26 Kh-101 missiles and four Kalibr missiles were shot down.

At the same time, 13 missile and 36 attack drone strikes were recorded at 23 locations. Debris from downed drones also fell in nine additional locations. Information regarding several missile strikes is being clarified.
