The head of the Dnipropetrovsk OVA, Serhiy Lysak, reported that as a result of the massive missile strike on the Dnipro River on June 24, the number of dead and injured is rapidly increasing.

As of 7:00 p.m., at least 15 people have been confirmed dead and over 200 injured . The situation remains dynamic, with updates being made hourly.
The city suffered extensive destruction. 46 high-rise buildings, 41 private houses, several dormitories, medical and educational institutions, administrative buildings, and critical infrastructure facilities, including the State Emergency Service buildings, were damaged. A passenger train that was at the station at the time of the attack was also hit.
Small and medium-sized business facilities were seriously damaged: shopping malls, shops, service stations, gas stations, and numerous outbuildings. Damage was recorded to over a hundred cars.
The OVA also reported on the Samara region, where an enemy missile destroyed another infrastructure facility. It is known that 2 people were killed and 14 were injured.
It is noted that almost a hundred victims are in hospitals. Medics are working in extremely difficult conditions and doing everything possible to save lives.
The head of the region thanked the doctors, rescuers, police officers, and all services who instantly responded to the tragedy.
At the same time, the city’s mayor, Borys Filatov, signed a decree introducing a Day of Mourning in Dnipro on June 25 in memory of the victims of the Russian missile attack on the city on June 24.
As is known, on Tuesday, June 24, Russia launched a missile attack on Ukraine, directing ballistic missiles at the Dnieper River.
As a reminder, on the night of Tuesday, June 24, Russian occupation forces attacked the Sumy region with strike drones. A village in the Verkhnyosyrovatsk community came under fire. According to preliminary information, three people were killed, including an eight-year-old boy.
As reported, the number of victims in Kyiv as a result of the Russian attack carried out on the night of June 23 has increased to nine .
