In Kyiv, after the massive Russian attack on the night of July 6, public transport is running with changes, and train traffic is restricted in certain areas of the Kyiv region. The restrictions are related to the elimination of the consequences of the shelling and security measures.

This was reported by the Kyiv City State Administration .

It is noted that due to the closure of road traffic in certain areas and the elimination of the consequences of enemy shelling, the operation of public transport has been changed.

In particular, the movement of trolleybuses No. 12 and 45 is organized to TRED-1 without stopping at the “Vasylkivska” metro station. Buses of route No. 35 run along Petro Hryhorenko Avenue and Anna Akhmatova Street. Also, due to the traffic congestion, the movement of bus No. 53 has been changed: the movement is organized to Elektrykiv Street, without stopping at Rybalsky Peninsula.

At the same time, Kyiv City Express reported that despite the difficult night, the Kyiv ring train is running in a full circle. The situation is more complicated in the Fastiv direction – traffic is complicated. Also, delays are possible at the entrance to the Kyiv-Volynskyi station.

At the same time, Ukrzaliznytsia reported that on certain sections of the railway in the Kyiv region, by decision of the State Emergency Service, train traffic has been restricted for safety reasons. Reserve bypass routes have been used for transportation.

The restrictions apply to the following trains:

  • No. 93 Kharkiv — Kholm;
  • No. 134 Kamianets-Podilskyi – Kyiv;
  • No. 94 Kholm — Kharkiv;
  • No. 43 Dnipro – Ivano-Frankivsk;
  • No. 104 Lviv — Lozova.

Ukrzaliznytsia noted that all key stops for these trains will be preserved, but traffic delays are expected.

In addition, the introduced restrictions have complicated suburban traffic in the Fastiv direction. Together with the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, a bus “shuttle” service has been organized between Boyarka and Kyiv.

As is known, on the night of July 6, Russia launched a massive missile strike on Kyiv . The attack affected the Holosiivskyi, Podolskyi, Darnytskyi, and Obolonskyi districts of the capital, with fatalities and dozens of injuries.
