“Maybe it was the floor”: Journalist shows autopsy report of deceased after mobilization

The lawyer for the family of Roman Sopin, who died in the distribution center shortly after mobilization, has released the results of a forensic medical examination.

This was reported by journalist Daryna Trunova, who was the first to tell the story of the death of a conscript.

According to the experts’ conclusions, the cause of death was severe bodily injuries – a fracture of the vault and base of the skull, a closed craniocerebral injury, massive hemorrhage, as well as an injury sustained as a result of the impact of a blunt object.

Trunova emphasized that she does not make her own assumptions about the origin of these injuries:

“So that I am not accused of manipulation again, draw your own conclusions. Perhaps it is also about the floor as a dull object,” the journalist noted.

According to her, the incident is being investigated by the Military Prosecutor’s Office, the State Bureau of Investigation, and the police.

As a reminder, a man who was previously detained by employees of the territorial recruitment center died in Kyiv after mobilization. The capital’s police have opened a criminal case and begun an investigation into the circumstances of the incident.

As reported, the police noted that according to the preliminary version, the tragedy occurred in the premises of the distribution point in the Podilskyi district: the man allegedly fell to the floor and received fatal injuries.
