Starting September 10, a reduced menu will be available in some McDonald’s restaurants in Ukraine. Some dishes will temporarily disappear from orders.

This is stated in the company’s official statement.

The company explains this decision by supply issues. Due to air strikes, food shipments have to be stopped or rerouted, which affects the restaurants’ operations.

McDonald’s noted that they primarily want to keep the most popular items on the menu. Therefore, the list of available dishes may vary depending on the restaurant.

“To maintain stable availability of the most popular dishes, some restaurants are temporarily switching to a reduced menu,” the company said.

McDonald’s added that it will return other positions as soon as product supply and logistics stabilize.

Russian attacks have reportedly destroyed or severely damaged the logistics centers of leading Ukrainian supermarket chains. Strikes on food warehouses in Kyiv and other cities have already disrupted the supply of certain goods.
