Meghan Markle may return to acting: she is in talks to star in “The Gentlemen”

Duchess of Sussex, American actress Meghan Markle is in talks to star in the third season of British director Guy Ritchie’s series “The Gentlemen.”
According to BBC News , negotiations about Meghan Markle’s possible participation in the series are in the early stages, but “Gentlemen” has not yet been officially renewed for a third season.
The second season will be released on Netflix on September 3.
It is currently unknown who Meghan Markle might play, but if the parties agree, the role will be the Duchess of Sussex’s first appearance in a movie after her wedding to Prince Harry.
The Gentlemen series is a sequel to Guy Ritchie’s 2019 crime film of the same name. The series centers on British Duke Edward “Eddie” Horniman (Theo James), who becomes a drug lord.
The news of Meghan Markle’s possible participation in “The Gentlemen” came shortly after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex decided to return to the UK . In 2020, they gave up their duties as members of the royal family and moved to the United States.
As BBC News notes, the first and second seasons of “Gentlemen” were filmed in the English Cotswold region, where Harry and Meghan are likely to settle.
Before her wedding to Prince Harry, Meghan starred in the TV series “Force Majeure,” “Castle,” “Border,” and others.
