Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, has decided to resume her acting career after her wedding to Prince Harry. She appeared on the set of a new Amazon project, the film “Close Personal Friends,” for the first time in several years.

According to People, Meghan will appear in the film as herself. Insiders note that she looked calm and happy, easily communicating with the crew and other actors.
The film stars Lily Collins, Brie Larson, Jack Quaid and Henry Golding alongside the Duchess. A release date has not yet been announced.
“This is an important step for Meghan – returning to what she truly loves. There were many offers, but she immediately liked this project,” the source notes.
Recall that after her engagement to Prince Harry, Meghan left acting, but remained famous for her role as Rachel Zane in the TV series “Suits”. According to insiders, her husband supports his wife’s decision to return to work on the big screen.
