“Meteorite or UFO”: Chinese air defense shot down an unknown object
In the skies over Weifang in the Chinese province of Shandong, air defense systems shot down an unidentified object.
This was reported by the World Journal.
The incident occurred on the night of September 12. The footage published by users captured the moment of the crash.
According to local residents, first two loud explosions were heard, and then the object collapsed.
Users’ versions were divided: some suggested that it was a test of an interceptor missile, while others believed that the air defense forces shot down a meteorite or even aliens.
“I just closed my eyes for a moment… and this is already an interstellar war?” the video’s author captioned the post.
Witnesses reported seeing an object in the sky moving at high speed. Its trajectory resembled a parabola.
In turn, employees of the Weifang Emergency Bureau said that they had not received any information at this time.
