MiG-29 pilot dies during landing after combat mission

On the night of August 23, 2025, Major Sergei Bondar, a MiG-29 fighter pilot, died while landing after completing a combat mission.
The Ukrainian Air Force reported this.
It was noted that Major Bondar was born in 1979, and the circumstances and causes of the disaster are being established.
The Ukrainian Air Force Command expressed its sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased soldier.
