Military An-22 with a crew of 7 people crashed in Russia

An An-22 “Antey” military transport plane crashed in the Ivanovo region of Russia with seven crew members on board.
According to Russian media, the accident occurred in the Furmaniv district of the region. The information was confirmed by Russian emergency services via TASS.
According to sources, the plane belonged to the Russian Defense Ministry and was performing a scheduled flight after undergoing repairs. Fragments of the An-22 were found in the area of the Uvodsky reservoir, where the disaster occurred.
There is currently no information about the condition of the crew or the cause of the plane crash. The investigation is being conducted by Russian services.

As reported, an aircraft accident involving a MiG-31 fighter jet occurred in the Lipetsk region of the Russian Federation on the evening of October 9. The plane crashed during landing after completing a scheduled training flight.
