The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported that military personnel who have a valid deferment from conscription or reservation are not sent to undergo a military medical commission (MMC).

This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Defense.

This is determined by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 560 of May 16, 2024, regulating the procedure for conducting conscription during mobilization.

At the same time, there are exceptions when persons with a deferment or reservation must still undergo a medical examination:

  • upon entering military service under contract;

  • if a person was previously recognized as having limited fitness, but he did not undergo a re-examination (except for persons with disabilities);

  • at the request of the conscript.
