Mindich’s partner bought land near Bukovel for millions of dollars — Bihus.Info

Igor Khmelov, a partner of businessman Timur Mindich and former manager of the defense company Fire Point, has been actively buying up land and tourist complexes near Bukovel in recent years.

This is stated in an investigation by Bihus.Info journalists.

According to journalists, since 2022, Khmelyov has purchased 24 land plots in the village of Yablunytsia with a total area of almost 9 hectares. He registered some of the assets personally, and some – through the company “Eventus Management”.

A hotel, restaurant, and glamping site were already operating on the site, and later another tourist complex appeared. According to journalists, the value of the land alone could now be around $4.5 million.

The investigation notes that Khmelov has long been associated with businesses of the Privat Group, as well as structures associated with Timur Mindich. His name also appeared in the materials of the NABU case “Midas”, which discussed the activities of the Fire Point company.

Journalists claim that after the searches at Mindich’s house in the fall of 2025, Khmelov urgently left Ukraine. After that, he began to transfer his assets to other companies and formally withdrew from the number of owners of Eventus Management.

At the same time, according to Bihus.Info, people from Khmelev’s entourage could retain actual control over the business. He and the new owners of the companies did not respond to journalists’ inquiries.
