Minus air defense and over a thousand occupiers: the General Staff updated data on Russian military losses

The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to inflict significant losses on the Russian army. According to the results of the fighting on October 6, 1,020 Russian soldiers were eliminated.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on the Russian Federation’s military losses.

In addition to personnel, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed three tanks, several armored vehicles, and another enemy air defense installation. The losses of the occupiers indicate that the intensity of hostilities remains high on several front lines.

According to the General Staff, Russia’s total losses in the war against Ukraine from February 24, 2022 to the morning of October 7, 2025 are:

• personnel – about 1,117,360 people (+1,020 per day);
• tanks – 11,238 (+3);
• armored combat vehicles – 23,319 (+6);
• artillery systems – 33,493 (+29);
• multiple launch rocket systems – 1,516;
• air defense systems – 1,224 (+1);
• aircraft – 427;
• helicopters – 346;
• Operational-tactical level UAVs – 67,564 (+338);
• cruise missiles – 3,841;
• ships/boats – 28;
• submarines – 1;
• automotive equipment and tank trucks – 63,575 (+79);
• special equipment – 3,973 (+2).

As a reminder, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed four Koksan self-propelled artillery systems that the Russian army received from North Korea.

Ukrainian fighters also conducted a special operation in one of the Russian regions , as a result of successful actions they managed to eliminate soldiers of the occupation army and their equipment.
