“There were many meetings, the most important thing is that there will be new support packages for Ukraine. The main thing is missiles for air defense, for protection against ballistics,” said Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The President reported that the issue of strengthening air defense was discussed with international partners during negotiations with leaders of states that can provide appropriate assistance. In particular, according to him, agreements were reached with Marco Rubio.
Separately, the head of state thanked Germany for its support for Ukraine, noting that a production line for attack drones for the needs of the Ukrainian army was opened in the country.
The President also announced the preparation of new energy assistance packages. According to him, negotiations on the restoration of Ukraine’s energy infrastructure are planned in the near future.
In addition, Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the preparation of a new sanctions package against Russian individuals who support the war against Ukraine.
