Mobile communications in Ukraine will become more expensive: operators have announced tariff increases. This will affect Kyivstar subscribers the most, while Vodafone and lifecell have remained unchanged.

From October 1, 2025, Kyivstar subscribers will experience a price increase. The company has updated its tariffs, which have not changed for over a year. Thus, the cost of packages will be:
- LOVE UA Light 2023 — 300 hryvnias for 4 weeks;
- With the superpower Savings — 225 hryvnias for 4 weeks;
- LOVE UA Contract — 250 hryvnias per month (from October 1).
The operator’s press service explained that the reasons were the increase in the cost of electricity during peak hours, the increase in the price of fuel for generators, inflation, and currency fluctuations.
At the same time, Vodafone subscribers will not experience any changes in cost. They have only renamed several tariffs, without affecting the terms and conditions or subscription fee.
It was previously reported that lifecell plans to optimize its tariff line by eliminating some plans and increasing the cost of certain special offers.
Thus, October will be a month of noticeable changes in the mobile communications market: some operators are increasing subscription fees, while others are limited to technical or structural updates.
It was previously reported that from January 1, 2026, Ukrainian citizens will be able to use mobile communications in the European Union at domestic rates . This became possible thanks to the European Commission’s decision to join Ukraine to the EU roaming zone.
