Mobile shelters will begin to be installed in the capital: where will they appear

In Kyiv, they plan to begin installing mobile shelters near public transport stops in late October or early November. In the first stage, 14 such structures are planned to be installed.

This was announced by the acting head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Andriy Tkachev, on television.

“We will start installing such shelters near public transport stops sometime in late October or early November,” Tkachev said.

He noted that the addresses where the mobile shelters will appear have not yet been disclosed.

According to Tkachev, such structures should strengthen the protection of the civilian population in areas where there are not enough capital storage facilities.

It was previously reported that Ukraine is hoping for international support to install 840 mobile shelters in six frontline regions. The protective structures are to appear on the routes that schoolchildren take to get to educational institutions.
