Mobilized a man and broke his rib: a CCC employee was tried in the Prykarpattia region

In the Carpathian region, a court sentenced a CCC employee who, after being mobilized, hit a man and broke his rib.

The incident occurred on April 23 near the Synevyr store in the village of Nazavyziv. A CCC employee as part of the alert group stopped a man on a bicycle who violated the rules of military registration, after which he was taken to the territorial recruitment center.

An argument broke out between a man and military personnel in the CCC. During the conflict, a center employee hit the detainee in the chest, trying to intimidate him.

After the impact, the victim suffered a closed chest injury, a rib fracture, subpleural hematomas, and a pneumothorax. As a result, the man had to undergo surgery.

In court, the CCC employee admitted his guilt, repented, and stated that it would never happen again. He also compensated for the damage and entered into a reconciliation agreement with the victim.

The court found him guilty of intentionally causing moderate bodily harm. He was sentenced to one year of service restriction with a deduction of 10% of his salary to the state.

As previously reported, in the Transcarpathian region, a court for the first time found an employee of a territorial procurement center guilty of obstructing the activities of an ombudsman representative during an inspection.

As a reminder, employees of the State Bureau of Investigation have completed an investigation into a CCC official and a serviceman involved in the death of a man during the transportation of mobilized personnel.
