More than 10 people are being searched under the rubble after a massive attack on Kyiv

A search and rescue operation is underway in the Darnytskyi district of Kyiv after a massive Russian attack. People may be trapped under the rubble of a destroyed building. More than 10 people are currently reported missing.

This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

According to rescuers, Kyiv suffered one of the most powerful strikes that night. Nearly 600 rescuers and police were involved in eliminating the consequences of the attack.

“There is information about more than 10 missing people – we are searching. 6 dog teams have been involved in the search,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.

Rescuers have already removed the bodies of four victims from the rubble. Among them are two men, aged 21 and 30, as well as a woman whose identity is still being determined.

The number of injured has risen to 39 people, including a baby. 28 residents were rescued from the destroyed house.

Emergency services, psychologists from the State Emergency Service and the police continue to work on the scene. Mobile points have also been deployed to help people restore documents and file claims for damaged property.

As a reminder, on the night of Thursday, May 14, Russian occupation forces carried out a massive combined attack on Kyiv. The enemy struck the capital with drones and missiles, explosions were heard in several areas, fires and destruction occurred . One person was killed and at least 16 injured.

As reported, as a result of the massive Russian attack on Kyiv, the number of injured people has increased to 40 people, including two children . Some of the wounded were hospitalized in the capital’s hospitals.
