More than 40 days without charging: Nokia introduced an unusual phone

HMD Global has introduced the new Nokia 300 Charge, a push-button phone designed with an emphasis on autonomy. Its battery has a capacity of 3700 mAh, and the phone itself, according to the manufacturer, can last for more than a month without recharging.

The Nokia 300 Charge can be useful not only as a phone. The device is able to transfer power to other gadgets via USB-C. The maximum power of such charging is 10 W, so it is difficult to call it a full-fledged power bank, but this function can be useful for emergency charging of a smartphone.

The developers also made a bet on a flashlight. It is located at the top of the case, and HMD claims that its brightness is four times higher than that of the Nokia 105.

Other than that, it’s a traditional flip phone. The Nokia 300 Charge has a 2.4-inch screen, a camera, and just 4MB of RAM and 4MB of internal storage. The latter can be expanded with a microSD card up to 32GB.

The phone supports wired headphones and charges via USB-C. The Nokia 300 Charge is already available in select markets. It costs around $35.
