More than 80 combat clashes occurred on the front in one day: heavy fighting continues near Pokrovsk and in the south

Since the start of November 1, 2025, 81 combat clashes have been recorded on the Russian-Ukrainian front. The most intense fighting continues in the Pokrovskoe and Aleksandrovsk directions.

The press center of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this.

Strikes on border areas

The Russian army continues to attack border settlements. The districts of Khodyno, Bobilovka, Belaya Bereza, Starikovoe, Studenok, Bruski, and Bunyakino in Sumy Oblast have been hit by artillery fire.

Northern Frontiers

Four combat engagements occurred in the Severo-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions. The enemy launched three airstrikes, dropping nine guided bombs, and carried out over 100 attacks, seven of which were from multiple rocket launchers.
Ukrainian defenders carried out successful search and strike operations, advancing 200 meters.

Eastern Front

In the Liman direction, the occupiers attacked four times in the areas of Korovy Yar, Zarechny and Stavki; two battles are still ongoing.
In the Slavyansk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled three attacks in the areas of Yampol, Dronovka, Serebryanka, Pereyezdnoye, and Fedorovka.
Eleven enemy attacks have been recorded in the Konstantinovsky direction, ten of which have been successfully repelled, and another one is ongoing.
The fiercest fighting took place in the Pokrovsk area, where the occupiers stormed Ukrainian Armed Forces positions 29 times near Shakhove, Myrnohrad, Krasny Liman, Rodynske, Novoekonomichesky, Kazatskoye, Lisovka, Sukhoi Yar, Zverevoye and other settlements.

“The Defense Forces are effectively conducting counter-sabotage operations in the Pokrovsk area; enemy losses are being determined,” the General Staff reported.

Southern directions

In the Aleksandrovsk direction, Ukrainian troops repelled 12 attacks in the areas of Zelenoye Roshcha, Yanvarsky, Ternovoye, Verbovoye, Alekseyevka, Pavlovka and Rybnoye.
In the Gulyaipole direction, one battle continues in the area of Novonikolaevka; Gulyaipole, Nechaevka and Malinovka came under air strikes.
In the Orekhovsky direction, the Defense Forces repelled one attack near Shcherbaki, and another battle continues near Kamenskoye.
In the Dnieper direction, the enemy attempted to storm Ukrainian positions near the Antonovsky Bridge but was repelled; Olhivka was subjected to an air strike.

The situation in the Volyn and Polesie directions remains stable – no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups have been detected.
