More than half of NATO countries announced multi-million aid packages for Ukraine: Ramstein results

During the Ramstein format meeting, Ukraine and its allies agreed on new contributions and military assistance packages. The total amount of contributions to the PURL initiative and procurement of Ukrainian industry exceeds $1.1 billion.

At the Ramstein format meeting, Ukraine’s allies confirmed new contributions to the PURL initiative totaling at least $422 million. More than half of NATO member states have already made or declared contributions.
In addition, new contributions to the purchase of Ukrainian industry in the amount of $715 million were announced. Norway allocated $600 million for UAVs, electronic warfare systems and explosives. The Netherlands allocated $106 million for strike and reconnaissance UAVs. Canada provided $8 million for interceptor drones, and Iceland provided $4 million within the framework of the “Danish model.”
Regarding military aid, Sweden has pledged $8 billion for security assistance to Ukraine in 2026–2027. The Czech Republic has announced a new package of $72 million, Canada has announced $20 million for winter equipment and missile components. Portugal has allocated $12 million to the British IFU fund for the purchase of weapons for Ukraine. Finland is preparing its 13th military aid package.
Ukrainian Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal thanked British Defense Minister John Healy and German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius for their leadership and support for the development of the Ramstein format meetings.
He also expressed his gratitude to NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, and each participating country for their contribution to saving lives and bringing about a sustainable peace.
By the way, on October 15, the 31st meeting of the Contact Group on Defense Issues of Ukraine in the “Ramstein” format was held in Brussels . Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal stated that the meeting remains the most important platform for coordinating international military assistance.
Earlier, the Danish Ministry of Defense announced the provision of 1.1 billion kroner to Ukraine to strengthen the Armed Forces.
As is known, Germany will allocate 400 million euros for the production of Ukrainian drones , with the help of which Kyiv can strike targets in the Russian rear.
