The capital experienced serious power outages on the morning of October 10. Due to strikes on critical infrastructure, the left bank of Kyiv was left without power, and the operation of the metro was partially limited.

This was reported by the Kyiv City State Administration.

In particular, due to the lack of electricity, train traffic between the stations “Slavutych” and “Chervony Khutir” (green line) has been stopped. The remaining lines operate with changed routes:

Red line: movement between the stations “Akademmistechko” – “Arsenalna”, interval – 6 minutes;

Blue line: movement between the stations “Heroiv Dnipra” – “Teremky”, interval – 6 minutes;

Green line: trains run from “Syrets” to “Vydubychiv”, interval – 7 minutes.

Kyiv authorities urge residents to closely monitor announcements at metro stations, as well as updates on the official pages of the Kyiv City State Administration and the metro.

In the event of an air raid, all underground stations serve as shelters.

At the same time, there are water supply disruptions on the left bank of the capital.

“The left bank of the capital is without electricity. There are also problems with water supply,” wrote Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko.

In addition, Energy Minister Svitlana Grinchuk stated that on the morning of October 10, Russia carried out a massive attack on Ukrainian energy infrastructure facilities.

According to her, experts from energy companies are already working to minimize the consequences of the impact.

“At this moment, the Russians are inflicting a massive blow on the Ukrainian energy infrastructure. Energy professionals are taking all necessary measures to minimize the negative consequences,” Grinchuk said.

The minister also noted that as soon as the security situation allows, emergency crews will begin inspecting damaged facilities and carrying out restoration work.

As a reminder, as a result of the night strike on Kyiv, serious damage was recorded to critical infrastructure and residential buildings . Part of the capital was left without electricity and water, and the number of civilian casualties reached 12 people.
