Moscow’s largest refinery shut down after drone attack – media
After a drone attack on the Moscow oil refinery of Gazprom Neft, the company completely stopped operations.

According to the agency’s sources, the primary oil refining unit, which provides about 53% of the plant’s production capacity, was hit. It was the unit that was damaged in the attack.
The Moscow Refinery is one of the key suppliers of fuel for the capital of the Russian Federation and the Moscow Region.
Reuters sources claim that the company has stopped operations after the strike. At the same time, one of the production units may be returned to operation in the near future.
Following the attack, eyewitness videos emerged online showing a massive fire and thick black smoke billowing from the factory. Reuters confirmed the authenticity of the footage.
Russian emergency services later said the fire had been extinguished and the company’s operations were not affected. However, the agency’s sources deny this information.
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin confirmed damage to one of the facilities on the company’s territory, but did not provide details.
Earlier it was reported that on the night of Tuesday, June 16, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the Moscow Oil Refinery in the Moscow Region of Russia . The Ukrainian military also struck control points, warehouses and facilities of the Russian military-industrial complex.
