Most Poles support the deportation of Ukrainian men.

The majority of Poles support the deportation of Ukrainian men who are in Poland but are not legally employed. This position was expressed by 67.2% of respondents.

This is evidenced by the results of an IBRiS survey for the Rzeczpospolita newspaper.

23.4% of respondents were against deportation.

The initiative was previously presented by the Polish opposition party Law and Justice. It received the highest support among Poles who identify as right-wing politically inclined—79%. Meanwhile, more than half of respondents with left-wing views also supported the proposal.

The survey results showed significant differences depending on the age of the respondents.

Among Poles aged 18 to 29, 43% of respondents supported the deportation of Ukrainian men without legal employment.

At the same time, among respondents aged 50 and older, 80% support this idea.

The survey was conducted on August 7–8, 2026, shortly after the Law and Justice proposal was released. More than a thousand people participated.
