In 2019, Volodymyr Zelenskyy came to power with loud promises to fight nepotism, get rid of motorcades, and organize large-scale raids on corrupt officials.

Six years later, the Bihus.info team of journalists summed up what was accomplished and what remained as Zelensky’s political slogans.

Investigators recall that during Zelensky’s presidency, about three dozen former members of “Kvartal” were appointed to high positions, and “nepotism” has not disappeared from Ukrainian politics. Despite the promise to abandon motorcades, their number only increased – long before the full-scale invasion of Russia.

Separate attention was paid to the deputy head of the OP, Oleg Tatarov. Despite numerous investigations and high-profile scandals, he still remains in the president’s team. Instead of systematic “plantings” of corrupt officials, journalists say, Bankova made attempts to undermine the independence of NABU and SAPO.

“We decided to return to 2019 and collected the promises that were made most often then. We analyzed what exactly the candidate, and later the newly elected president, said, and what was implemented from this,” the journalists note.

As a reminder, it was previously reported that on Monday, September 22, it became known that the head of the Bihus.Info project, Denys Bigus, was mobilized into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine .

Previously, the head of the Bihus.Info investigative project , Denis Bigus, recorded a video message reacting to hidden footage showing his colleagues allegedly using prohibited substances at a New Year’s corporate party.
