Myrnograd is completely surrounded – military

Ukrainian military personnel defending Myrnograd on the Pokrovsky direction stated that the city is surrounded.
Two interlocutors told Hromadske about this.
“On Saturday, some of our (military personnel — ed.) tried to enter — they were blown up by a mine. Others tried to leave — they made contact and retreated back to the city. In our battalion, the last rotation was on November 12,” the 38th Marine Brigade said.
According to the officer, the city is completely surrounded. Work is currently underway to unblock Myrnograd.
“The last five days have been a complete encirclement. Actions are being taken to unblock it, and these actions are partially successful,” he noted.
As one of the interlocutors explained, the retention of Myrnograd is possible provided that the deblocking plan is implemented.
It is also important to maintain logistics, for this it is necessary to maintain control over the settlements of Krasny Liman and Rodynske.
As a reminder,Russian troops are increasing pressure on the Donetsk region and want to surround Myrnograd . They are moving towards the settlements of Rivne and Svitle, trying to enter the city’s rear.
It was previously reported that logistics to Myrnograd remain complicated , but it is being carried out in full. Ukrainian defenders hold certain positions in the city.
By the way, on December 3, the 7th Corps of the Defense Forces noted that over the past week , the Defense Forces group in the Myrnograd area conducted several personnel rotations .
