NABU and SAPO filed documents for international wanted list for Mindich and Zuckerman

NABU and SAPO have sent documents for Interpol to put businessmen Timur Mindich and Oleksandr Zukerman, defendants in the “Midas” case regarding corruption in the energy sector, on the wanted list.

This was reported by Ukrinform with reference to an interview with the head of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, Oleksandr Klymenko.

Answering journalists’ questions about transferring materials to Interpol, Klymenko confirmed this information.

“Yes, they sent it,” he said.

At the same time, the head of the SAPO noted that there is currently no confirmation of the issuance of the so-called “red card.” According to him, Interpol is not obliged to immediately publish such information.

“There is a hidden period when the “red card” is already in effect, but there is no public information about it yet,” Klymenko explained.

As previously reported, NABU and SAPO are conducting a large-scale operation “Midas” to expose corruption in the energy sector . According to the investigation, the activities of a high-level criminal organization were established, which controlled financial flows and personnel decisions in state energy structures.

As a reminder, Zelenskyy imposed NSDC sanctions against the co-owner of Kvartal-95 Timur Mindich and businessman Oleksandr Zukerman , who are linked to a corruption case in the energy sector.
