The Pechersk District Court in Kyiv has extended the detention of National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) detective Ruslan Maghamedrasulov.
This was reported by “Suspilne”.
In particular, the judge chose a preventive measure in the form of detention without bail until October 21.
The appropriate decision was demanded by prosecutors, who are convinced that the defendant may be hiding from the investigation, traveling abroad, and influencing witnesses.
On the other hand, the detective’s defenders believe that there are no risks, and the case is about pressure and an attack on the NABU.
In turn, Magamedrasulov complained about the use of force during his detention.
It was previously reported that MP Fedir Khrystenko, who was returned from the UAE to Ukraine by the SBU, will testify against NABU detective Ruslan Maghamedrasulov.
