NABU returned Tymoshenko’s seized funds

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine returned to Yulia Tymoshenko the funds seized during the search.
This is reported by her lawyer.
According to the defense attorney, NABU has implemented the decision of the Appellate Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court. He called the return of the money a step towards restoring justice and stated that it confirms the illegality of the charges against the leader of the Batkivshchyna party.
The lawyer also stated the positive dynamics in the consideration of the case and expressed confidence in the favorable further development of events.
In addition, he recalled that during the last court hearing, the prosecutor admitted: Tymoshenko did not transfer funds and did not receive them.
It was previously reported that bail was posted for MP Yulia Tymoshenko, who is suspected of corruption.
As a reminder, NABU and SAPO reported suspicions to MP, head of the Batkivshchyna faction Yulia Tymoshenko. The investigation covers the facts of bribery to parliamentarians for supporting or blocking certain initiatives in the session hall. NABU also published audio recordings in the case of an alleged offer of an illegal benefit to MPs.
