National Guardsmen used drones to deliver over 600 kg of baby food and toys to occupied Oleshky.
National Guard troops used drones to deliver 15 packages of baby food and toys, weighing over 600 kilograms, to the temporarily occupied town of Oleshky in the Kherson region.
This was reported by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ivan Vyhovsky.
The aid was delivered by soldiers from the “Bolgarichi” special forces company of the 11th NGU brigade. The packages contained cereal, milk, educational games, and toys.
“Among the children in the besieged Oleshky village are those born during a full-scale war and who have never known life without terror. We support these families and deliver essential goods to them,” Vyhovsky wrote.
According to available information, Oleshky is under humanitarian siege and is on the brink of a humanitarian catastrophe. The last food supplies to the town were delivered at the end of May 2026. Due to the food shortage, residents are starving, and Russian troops are preventing them from leaving.
More than 6,000 people, including approximately 200 children, may remain in Oleshky and surrounding villages. They are effectively located in a gray zone near the front line.
It was previously reported that Ukraine and Russia agreed to a local ceasefire in Oleshky, Kherson Oblast, effective October 29. The ceasefire is intended to ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid and preparation for the evacuation of civilians.
