NATO Accuses Russia of Irresponsibility Following Drone Downing in Romania: Details

NATO condemned the crash of a Russian drone into a residential building in Romania and called Russia’s actions irresponsible.
Alliance press secretary Allison Garth reported this on social media.
“We condemn Russia’s reckless actions. NATO will continue to strengthen our defenses against all threats, including drone attacks,” she emphasized.
The Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs also responded to the incident, calling it “a serious and irresponsible escalation on the part of the Russian Federation.”
“Romania will take the necessary diplomatic measures in response to this gross violation of international law and its airspace. We have already informed our allies and the NATO Secretary General of the circumstances of the incident and called for the expedited transfer of counter-drone capabilities,” the statement reads.
The agency also emphasized that Russia remains an aggressor state waging an illegal war, which has serious consequences for regional security and the safety of civilians.
Earlier , “Pryamoy” reported that, according to the Romanian Ministry of Defense, a Russian drone crashed into a residential high-rise building in the city of Galați on May 29. Following the impact, a fire broke out on the top floor, injuring two people.
Furthermore, on the night of April 25, drone debris from the Russian attack was also recorded falling near the Ukrainian border . The incident damaged infrastructure, but there were no casualties.
