NATO Comments on US Suspension of Arms Supplies to Ukraine

Against the backdrop of the halt in the supply of critical weapons to Ukraine from the United States, Kyiv will not be able to do without maximum support from Europe.

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte stated this in an interview with Fox News.

He noted that in the short term, Ukraine needs all possible assistance in the form of ammunition and air defense systems.

Rutte added that Europe intends to strengthen support for Ukraine and this is where efforts need to be focused amid the reduction in aid from Washington.

The United States has reportedly temporarily halted supplies of some anti-aircraft missiles and precision-guided munitions to Ukraine due to concerns about the level of its own defense reserves.

Let us recall that after reports about the suspension of deliveries of part of the military aid to Ukraine, the Pentagon assures that Washington continues to work on solutions.
