Neptune reached Bryansk: satellite photos showed the consequences of the strike on the Russian plant
Satellite images have confirmed the destruction of the strategic Elektrodetal plant in the city of Karachev, Bryansk region, Russia. The main workshop of the enterprise was destroyed as a result of a Ukrainian Neptun missile strike.
According to the “Cyber Flour” community, published satellite photos show a punctured roof of the workshop and a damaged boiler room. The attack on the enterprise was carried out by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the night of September 29 in cooperation with the Naval Forces.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the plant was struck by four R-360 “Neptun” cruise missiles from a distance of about 240 km. The facility was not chosen by chance. “Electrodetal” produces electronic warfare elements, measuring instruments and electrical connectors used in Russian missiles and FPV drones “Chimera”.
The enterprise supplies products to more than one and a half thousand organizations of the Russian military-industrial complex. In total, the plant produces more than 25 thousand items of components for the aerospace, electronics and military industries. According to Russian media, “Electrodetal” is included in the sanctions lists of the USA and Ukraine.
The facility is located in the city of Karachev, Bryansk region (coordinates: 53.127086354707295, 35.008580155847966).
As a reminder, it was previously reported that the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck several strategic enemy targets on the territory of Russia and in temporarily occupied Crimea. Thus, in Feodosia, the facilities of the JSC “Marine Oil Terminal”, which the Russians used to supply their military units, were hit .
Also in the Russian city of Dzerzhinsk, in the Nizhny Novgorod region, a drone attack on a factory took place . More than two dozen explosions were heard there.
