“Neptune” worked admirably: the General Staff confirmed the destruction of an important plant in the Bryansk region

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the defeat of a plant important to the Russians that manufactures products for military needs.

This was reported by the press service of the department.

As it became known, units of the missile forces and artillery, together with other components of the Defense Forces, struck the facility on the night of September 29.

“During the missile strike, four products were launched from the Karachevsk Plant “Electrodetal” (Karachev city, Bryansk region, Russia). The flight range was over 240 kilometers,” the report says.

The company specializes in the manufacture of electrical connectors for military and general industrial applications, including low-frequency, high-frequency and combination connectors.

Russians use them for needs in the aerospace, electronics, instrument-making, and other industries.

“These include, in particular, connectors for printed circuit boards, military equipment, aircraft, antennas, base stations and other systems, as well as components for various measuring instruments,” the General Staff explained.

According to the agency, explosions and a fire were recorded as a result of the attack on the site. Other results are currently being clarified.

At the same time, the Commander of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Vice Admiral Oleksiy Neizhpapa, assured that the plant was hit by Neptune missiles.

“We are adjusting the work of Russian defense factories. At night, our Neptune successfully hit the Russian Karachevsk plant “Electrodetal”. Minus one more link in the enemy’s supply chain,” he wrote in a post.

As a reminder, in the Bryansk region, JSC Karachevsky Plant “Electrodetal”, which manufactures components for Russian military equipment, was struck .
