Rocket Strike Damages Ukraine’s Cabinet of Ministers Building: New Details Emerge

During the recent Russian attack on Kyiv, the Cabinet of Ministers building was struck by a warhead from an Iskander-K missile, not a strike drone.

This was reported by Defense Express based on the results of the analysis of the wreckage.

It was reported that the government building was struck by a 9M727 missile from the Iskander-K complex. Its 450-kilogram warhead did not detonate; the fire on the upper floors was caused by the ignition of fuel from the missile’s tanks.

Recall that on the night of September 7, Russia carried out another massive combined attack against Ukraine, using a record number of strike drones – 810. In addition, ballistic and cruise missiles were used.

As is known, as a result of the Russian Federation’s massive strike on Ukrainian regions, the Cabinet of Ministers building was damaged, in particular, where a fire broke out.

By the way, Yulia Svyrydenko showed what the Cabinet of Ministers building looked like inside after the Russian shelling . The photos show the shattered and burnt walls and ceiling.
