As a result of the latest Russian shelling, some consumers in several regions of Ukraine were left without electricity. The most difficult situation as of this morning was recorded in Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhia regions.

This was reported by NPC Ukrenergo.

“Due to enemy shelling, there are new power outages in the Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhia regions this morning,” the company noted.

Power engineers have already begun emergency restoration work where the security situation allows. The company assures that they are doing everything possible to restore power supply to consumers as soon as possible.

At the same time, electricity consumption in Ukraine continues to grow. According to Ukrenergo, as of the morning of June 3, this figure was 10% higher than the previous day.

Experts attribute this to mostly cloudy weather, which has reduced the efficiency of household solar power plants. As a result, Ukrainians are using more electricity from the public grid.

“Please consume electricity rationally throughout the day and do not turn on several powerful electrical appliances at the same time in the evening hours – from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM,” Ukrenergo urged.

Energy experts emphasize that the situation in the power system remains dynamic, and information about possible restrictions or restoration of electricity supply should be clarified with your distribution system operators.
