As of the morning of March 26, a number of Ukrainian regions were partially left without electricity due to shelling of energy facilities and hostilities.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy.
In particular, residents of Dnipropetrovsk, Odessa, Sumy, Chernihiv, Zaporizhia, and Kharkiv regions were temporarily without power.
According to the agency, the most difficult situation is with electricity supply in the Chernihiv and Odessa regions. As a result of several attacks in a row, the equipment there has suffered significant damage.
“Energy engineers are working in an intensive mode to restore power supply to all subscribers as soon as possible. Restoration work continues around the clock,” the message says.
The ministry’s press service urged consumers to use electricity during peak consumption hours in the morning and evening to reduce the load on the system.
