A Ukrainian sniper set a new world record by eliminating two occupiers from a distance of 4,000 meters.

This was told by military man Yuri Butusov.

“Incredible accuracy and updating of the world record for the range of destruction! A Ukrainian sniper eliminated two Russian servicemen from a distance of 4,000 meters. The bullet passed through the window behind which the invaders were,” the military man said.

It is noted that the record shot was fired on August 14, 2025.

The aiming was done using artificial intelligence and with adjustments from the UAV complex. The shot was fired from a Ukrainian 14.5 mm Alligator rifle with a maximum range of 7 thousand meters.

It is worth noting that the previous world record also belonged to a Ukrainian. In November 2023, a sniper from a unit of the Security Service of Ukraine, 58-year-old Vyacheslav Kovalskyi in the Kherson region eliminated an invader at a distance of 3,800 meters.
