Night attack on Krasnodar Territory: Port and oil terminal on fire in Novorossiysk
Russian authorities have announced a massive drone attack on the Krasnodar Territory. After the night attack in Novorossiysk, according to local Telegram channels, fires broke out near the oil terminal and military harbor, and columns of black smoke rose above the city and Gelendzhik.
This was reported by the Governor of the Krasnodar Territory, Veniamin Kondratyev, the Telegram channels “Crimean Wind” and Exilenova+, as well as NASA FIRMS data.
Kondratyev said that the attack lasted all night and, according to him, the Russian side had deployed “several hundred drones.” According to the governor, Novorossiysk, Anapa, Gelendzhik, and the Temryutsky district were under attack.
“All night long, the Krasnodar Territory repelled a massive attack by several hundred Ukrainian Armed Forces drones,” Kondratiev said.
The Russian official also reported that drone debris fell on the territory of four enterprises. According to him, information about the consequences of the attack is being clarified.
Meanwhile, Telegram channels are publishing photos and videos from Novorossiysk showing large-scale fires and thick black smoke. According to them, the fires originated in the area of an oil terminal and a military harbor.

Fires and thermal anomalies in the Novorossiysk area are also being recorded by NASA’s FIRMS satellite system. However, this data does not allow us to independently determine the cause of the fire or confirm that specific objects were hit by a drone attack.
Separate reports of fires are also coming from Gelendzhik, where eyewitnesses recorded large columns of smoke.
Official Russian authorities have not yet reported on the nature of the damage to the oil terminal or military harbor in Novorossiysk. Information about the consequences of the attack is being clarified.
