Nina Yuzhanina on searches in her son’s apartment: I didn’t draw up a mandate then, and even less so now

Those who gave the order to people with weapons to break into the apartment of my three grandchildren took their children out of the country long ago. But I will not give in to intimidation and resign my mandate.

“A little time has passed, and now there is even more awareness of yesterday’s events. Three boys, my grandchildren, were born in Kiev. The boys, who experienced blackouts and sirens with us all the days of the war, know what martyrs and rockets are, slept and often sleep in the parking lot. We did not take the three boys to Israel, or Britain, or anywhere else,” she noted.

“Those who made the decision to go into the children’s apartment with weapons definitely had all of their own taken out long ago, definitely did not have and do not have an ounce of understanding how hard it is for a young family now, because there are three of them and they are small, and even at night they cannot go down to the parking lot on their own,” the deputy emphasized.

“I probably should have helped them survive those terrible years of war somewhere, but we didn’t do that. The children always looked up to me. And I couldn’t give up my mandate to leave,” Yuzhanina emphasized.

“And when yesterday my grandson wanted to call 102 because he was sure that bandits had come in with weapons, I answered that there was no need, everything would be fine. For now, I am sure that things will not be good in our country anytime soon,” she noted.

Who will defend the country in the future? Who, if not my three boys? Especially since the middle one, who turned 6 yesterday, dreams of being a soldier and is already being trained. By the way, the young parents did not receive any assistance for all three children (no payments at birth, no monthly payments for three years). I told them that you can handle it,” she added.

“And in conclusion, I did not draw up a mandate then, and now – even less so. The tribune is mine,” said Nina Yuzhanina.

Earlier, lawyer Igor Golovan, at a briefing after the search of the children of the people’s deputy from the European Solidarity faction Nina Yuzhanina, said that he had never seen such cynicism in his practice.
