No food in positions: Ukrainian Armed Forces dismiss commanders due to scandal

In the Kupyansk direction, after losing positions and problems with providing military support, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine dismissed the commander of the 14th separate mechanized brigade and demoted the head of the 10th army corps.
This was reported to the General Staff.
According to the military, the previous brigade command hid the real state of affairs in the positions.
“A certain number of positions were lost and a number of miscalculations were made regarding the provision of military personnel,” the report says.
In particular, they discovered problems with logistics – there were interruptions in the supply of food at one of the positions.
The situation is complicated by the constant Russian attacks on the Oskil River crossings, which has made the transportation of resources much more difficult. The military is now using watercraft and heavy drones to deliver the necessary supplies.
After personnel changes, the brigade was led by Colonel Taras Maksimov, and the 10th Army Corps was led by Brigadier General Artem Bogomolov.
The General Staff adds that an internal investigation is underway, and its materials will be transferred to law enforcement agencies.
The new command is already working to stabilize the situation and establish support for units on the front line.
As a reminder, reports appeared online about a critical situation with the provision of soldiers of the 14th separate mechanized brigade, who, according to the authors of the posts, were losing consciousness from hunger and drinking rainwater.
