North Korea tested new weapons this week, including electromagnetic weapons and so-called “carbon bombs.”

Bloomberg writes about this.

The tests took place from April 6 to 8. The country’s leader , Kim Jong-un, called these developments “special assets of a strategic nature.”

According to him, electromagnetic weapons and carbon fiber bombs can be used together and used in various types of weapons.

This is a type of weapon that uses electromagnetic energy to destroy targets instead of traditional explosives. The primary goal is to disable electronic infrastructure, particularly power grids.

In addition, the tests also tested the combat readiness of ballistic missiles, according to the DPRK state news agency.

Experts note that the development of such technologies could strengthen Pyongyang’s cyber and electronic warfare capabilities.
