North Korean units adjust shelling of Ukrainian Army positions in Sumy region

North Korean military units have been spotted coordinating actions with Russian troops near the Ukrainian border. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, North Korean servicemen are participating in reconnaissance and fire control of Ukrainian positions in the Sumy region.
The General Staff reported this in its official address on Facebook.
According to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, North Korean units are located in the Russian Kursk region. Using drones, they conduct aerial reconnaissance, identify the location of Ukrainian units, and assist in fire control.
Ukrainian defenders have documented direct interaction between North Korean UAV operators and Russian military personnel. According to the General Staff, these operators directed rocket artillery fire at Ukrainian Armed Forces positions.
“North Korean UAV operators were involved in directing strikes by multiple launch rocket systems in the Sumy direction,” the report says.
According to the Ukrainian military, due to serious losses and the failure of offensive operations in the region, Russia is forced to resort to the participation of a foreign contingent. In this case, the use of military personnel from the DPRK in combat missions on Ukrainian territory.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine emphasizes that the participation of units from the DPRK in the aggression against Ukraine is documented.
