Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko reported that Norway has allocated funds for budget support for Ukraine.
She wrote about this in Telegram.
The country provided Ukraine with another $200 million through the World Bank’s PEACE project.
“We are sincerely grateful for this timely contribution to maintaining macro-financial stability and the continuous operation of key public services — this is an example of Norway’s leadership and its consistent support for Ukraine during a period of great challenges,” the official emphasized.
As she noted, since the program’s launch in 2022, the PEACE project has attracted almost $52 billion. Of this, $13.4 billion was allocated to payments for retirees.
Recall that Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez said that in 2026, Madrid is preparing a new military aid package for Ukraine worth 1 billion euros.
