The Verkhovna Rada reported that not all servicemen will receive the announced monthly allowance of 10,000 hryvnias. In particular, the payment is not provided for officers serving in rear positions.

Iryna Nikorak, the head of the subcommittee on veterans’ rehabilitation of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Social Policy and Protection of Veterans’ Rights, reported that she had received official clarifications regarding the mechanism for paying the new allowance.
“Clarifications have been received stating that officers in rear positions will not receive an allowance of these 10,000 hryvnias,” said Iryna Nikorak.
According to the MP, the monthly allowance will not apply to all military personnel, as it might have seemed after previous announcements.
At the same time, Iryna Nikorak did not specify other details regarding the categories of military personnel who will be entitled to receive payments.
We will remind you that the Cabinet of Ministers has published Resolution No. 768, which changes the system of additional payments for servicemen of the Defense Forces, police special forces, and foreigners serving in the Ukrainian army.
